It was the people running this quaint motel that made our stay special. No frills with a microwave & fridge, and it's quiet and clean. Anton is a very small town. There is a small grocery store, and a small gas station. This motel is a find. There are also RV hook ups. I would think a RV-er would love the simplicity of this small camp ground and the Colorado starry nights.

My friend and I were biking through and this was the only campsite for miles. Like the review below said, just a big dry crispy field with water pumps and RV hookups. There's a convenience store around the corner where we got food. Had to hang in tent the whole time because of biting flies. The owner is super nice and opened up an unused hotel room next to the site so we could use the restroom and shower. Only paid $10. Bring something to keep you busy, there's literally nothing else in the area.

My husband and I are just starting our RV life adventure and this place has made it so enjoyable and peaceful. The community is very small and is a gem if you are looking to escape the metro life and return to the simple joys of living. The commute in to Denver is a gorgeous drive so that is an added bonus! Our cell carrier gets no service out here but the owners are gracious and let us use their wi-fi to communicate with family and friends until we get a new carrier. There are a few motel rooms and a cute little store around the corner. The hookups are fantastic and the grounds well maintained. Some people complain about the flies but that is a small price to pay to be so close to nature and can easily be controlled. This place is a diamond in the middle of the most beautiful plains we have ever seen!!!

I ended up in Prairie Motel after a long and windy day during my bike trip across the United States - and can just recommend staying here! My room was clean, had a very comfortable bed, a fridge, a TV and even a microwave. But the best thing about this place are the owners who welcomed me so well that I can't thank them enough. Thanks for the memorable experience!
